Amidst mossy ground, spiders and butterflies lived a small flower called Harlow the Magnificent. Harlow had lived all his life on on the rocky surface of Owl Hill and one thing he knew for sure was that he was most certainly magnificent. His leaves were brighter and more brilliantly red than any others at Owl Hill and what is more accurate of a measurement of greatness than the redness of leaves? Besides the owls would always perch themselves on the poles closest to Harlow, no doubt to admire his exquisite beauty.

Indeed! :) ...but that's exactly what's giving Harlow such a big head. All he ever sees is green, but there's a whole lot of red out there too, it would break the poor guys heart if he only knew how red the world can be :(

So poetic.
Do you realize that?

Thank you

...strange writing tend to burst out of me in times of relief and ease, like at the end of a lot of stress and the beginning of a holiday :)

...glad you like it too

Ah, that's interesting.

So many people say that, they can only write while being depressed.
Good to hear you are different. :)

Well I'd write a lot more if that were the case! :)

That window of relief and ease following a stressful period is usually so tiny that not much writing happens during it.

When I write when I'm depressed, I write depressing things, and I don't like reading depressing things. I like the jolly and silly :P

Fair enough!

I think there is a lot, too much depressing things written already, good or not.

I like the jolly and silly too.
It's all about finding the right balance. :)
